The Stagehand's Unseen
‘Olympus Manger’ is a play of dialectics. The title itself sets up a condition of oppositions in form and metaphor. The work in this exhibition is meant to parse out some of the conditions employed in the play. It serves to address the mountain and the hole, the monument and the keepsake, the object and the container, the social and the singular, the threshold and the proscenium, the body and the platform.
